School Dress Code

 

Uniforms

Items may be purchased from local stores including, Target, Burlington Coat Factory, department stores or from www.FrenchToast.com.

GIRLS

Preschool:

  • Navy blue knee length jumper with white collared shirt and navy blue leggings or pants
  • White or navy blue socks
  • Black or brown closed-toe comfortable shoes (soft leather, sneakers, or dress shoes, no “light up” soles, no boots or heels)
  • Navy blue sweaters or jackets

Pre-K – 5th:

  • Navy blue knee length jumper with white collared shirt and navy blue pants  White or navy blue socks
  • Black or brown closed-toe comfortable shoes (soft leather, sneakers, or dress shoes, no boots or heels)
  • Navy blue sweaters or jackets
  • 1st–5th girls are required to bring a navy blue or white hijab for daily prayer. If any student fails to bring a hijab, the school will provide one for her at a cost of $10. 

6th – 8th:

  • Navy blue tunic dress and navy blue pants (available for purchase at the Front Desk)
  • Navy blue skirt with white or light blue long sleeve polo shirt
  • White or navy blue socks
  • Black or brown closed-toe comfortable shoes (soft leather, sneakers, or dress shoes, no boots or heels)
  • Navy blue sweaters or jackets
  • Middle school girls are required to wear a white 2 piece Amira style hijab. If any student fails to bring a hijab, the school will provide one for her at a cost of $10.
  • On Fridays, middle school girls may wear a black or navy abaya.

 

BOYS

Preschool – 5th:

  • White collared shirt, navy blue vest, navy blue pants (no sweatpants)
  • White or navy blue socks
  • Black or brown closed toe comfortable shoes (soft leather, sneakers, or dress shoes, no “light up” soles)
  • Navy blue sweaters or jackets

6th – 8th:

  • White button-down dress shirt, solid colored tie, navy blue pants (no sweatpants)
  • White or navy blue socks
  • Black or brown closed-toe comfortable shoes (soft leather, sneakers, or dress shoes)  Navy blue sweaters or jackets
  • On Fridays, middle school boys may wear a black or navy thowb.

 

Uniform Policy The principal may allow uniform exceptions for school-wide programs or special classroom activities, which will be communicated to parents and students in advance. Students are expected to adhere to the uniform policy every day. The teachers and the principal will administer appropriate consequences for policy infractions.

If a student is in violation of the uniform policy, s/he will be sent to the Front Office to contact parents.  Each uniform violation will be documented.  Repeated uniform violations (more than five per semester) may result in disciplinary action.
